Ingredients

Salmon Dry Rub

  • 4 Salmon Fillets rinsed and pat dried
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Old Bay Seasoning or seafood seasoning
  • 3 tsp Dry Sriracha Seasoning adjust to taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper to taste
  • 3 tsp Butter

Honey Sriracha Glaze Sauce

  • 1/4 cup Honey
  • 2 tsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tsp Soy Sauce
  • 1 tsp Crushed Red Chili Flakes or dry sriracha seasoning, or both as desired

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Season salmon fillets with a drizzle of olive oil, dry sriracha seasoning, garlic powder, old bay seasoning, salt, and black pepper. In an oven-safe dish, add butter, then lay the seasoned salmon overtop butter and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  • While the salmon is cooking, combine the sauce ingredients in a separate bowl. Then pour the prepared sauce over the partially cooked salmon. Return the dish to the oven, and bake for an additional 5-6 minutes or until the salmon is fully cooked and sauce bubbly.
  • Spoon the sauce over the salmon, serve while hot and enjoy!

Notes

Dry Sriracha Seasoning - depending on the brand it can be spicy. If you have sensitivities to spice, you can still obtain the colour of this dish by using paprika. Alternatively for the spice you can use red chili pepper flakes or cayenne pepper. 
Marinate Salmon - if you have time to allow salmon to marinate for at least 15 to 30 minutes or a few hours, it is recommended.
