- 8 Chicken Legs
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- 1 - 2 tbsp Olive Oil
Barbecue Sauce
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 1/2 cup Barbecue Sauce
- 1/4 cup Hot Sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce or Apple Cider Vinegar
In a large bowl, add the chicken legs with a drizzle of olive oil then season with paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Toss until they are evenly coated with the seasoning. Let the chicken legs marinate for at least 30 minutes to an hour in the refrigerator.
Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C). Place the chicken legs in the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring not to overcrowd. Depending on the size of your air fryer, you may need to cook the chicken legs in batches.
Air fry the chicken legs for 25-30 minutes, flipping at the halfway point. Remove chicken legs from basket and pour the prepared barbecue sauce over top toss them gently to coat.
Return the sauced chicken legs to the air fryer basket and air fry for an additional 3-5 minutes (basting as needed), or until the sauce is caramelized and sticky and chicken cooked through with an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
