In a large shallow dish, add custard ingredients and whisk well to combine.

Over medium-low heat, preheat a non-stick skillet and lightly grease, spreading evenly over the surface of the skillet or pan.

Dip one slice of bread into the egg mixture, then flip and dip the other side

Place slice of bread into the skillet or pan and fry until golden brown then flip and repeat.

Repeat process with remaining bread slices, then remove and allow to rest on a cooling rack. Serve warm with desired toppings.
