Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1.5 lb Raw Shrimp peeled & deveined
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried Parsley Flakes
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Fresh Cracked Black Pepper
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • Scotch Bonnet Orange Glaze
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Squeezed Orange Juice Juice from 1.5 large oranges
  • 2 tbsp Scotch Bonnet Pepper Honey
  • 2 tbsp Soya Sauce
  • 3 Cloves Garlic
  • To Thicken Glaze Optional
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp Cold Water

Instructions

  • In a medium mixing bowl, season shrimp with dried thyme, dried parsley flakes, onion powder, garlic powder, fresh cracked black pepper, and salt; set aside.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients; freshly squeezed orange juice, scotch bonnet pepper honey, soya sauce and garlic.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Working in batches, place shrimp in skillet and sauté until shrimp pink on one side, then flip. Do not overcrowd your pan. When done, remove and set aside.
  • Add prepared sauce to the skillet, stir until garlic softened and sauce begins to thicken, around 3-4 minutes. Return shrimp to skillet, and toss in sauce. Remove skillet from heat once shrimp cooked through and enjoy!
  • To Thicken Glaze (Optional)
  • In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and cold water together until well combined.
  • Pour into skillet when shrimp nearly done and use wooden spoon to stir until glaze thickens.
