Sweet Ginger Thai Chicken Wings, this chicken wings recipe is one of the most perfect combinations of sweet and spicy, with a hint of ginger and dose of thai flavours! They are oven baked until crispy, and so easy to bring together making the perfect addition to any appetizer plate or main dish! Serve with fresh veggies and a side of ranch dip!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb Raw Chicken Wings
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1 tsp Smoked Paprika or regular paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

Sweet Ginger Thai Sauce

  • 1/4 cup VH® Sweet Thai Chili Dipping Sauce or any brand, sweet thai chili sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Ginger
  • 2 tbsp Sriracha Chili Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Pure Honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire baking rack on top of the baking sheet.
  • Pat dry the chicken wings with a lint-free paper towel to remove any excess water or liquid and place them in a large mixing bowl.
  • Add baking powder to the chicken wings and mix until well coated. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, dried parsley flakes, salt and freshly cracked black pepper.Arrange the wings on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 45 minutes, flipping at the halfway point.
  • In a large bowl, combine sauce ingredients - VH® Sweet Thai Chili Dipping Sauce, ground ginger, sriracha chili sauce, and pure honey, mix until well combined. When wings are done and crispy, remove from oven and toss in sauce until well coated.
  • Serve with blue cheese or ranch and enjoy!

Notes

Optional Step: remove wings toss in sauce and return to oven for an additional 5 minutes.
