Easy White Chocolate Brownies with Chocolate Chips

These white chocolate brownies, were made and created just for me! I wouldn’t necessarily classify myself as a chocolate lover, however I am a lover of chocolate only in certain circumstances; these Easy White Chocolate Brownies with Chocolate Chips are one of those circumstances! Not only are they delicious, but they are incredibly easy to make and come together in no time. Here are some other reasons why I love these WCBs:

  1. The chocolate chip addition is customizable. If you prefer dark chocolate, butterscotch, peanut butter, or swirl the option is yours.
  2. Very easy to make, with simple instructions to recreate in the comfort of your home with little effort
  3. Yields a very irresistible, chewy, dense, and delicious dessert – all the yumminess you want a brownie to have!

What’s the Difference Between Blondies and White Chocolate Brownies?

White chocolate brownies are quite similar to blondies except blondies usually contain no chocolate and are made using brown sugar as opposed to only granulated white sugar.

How to Make Easy White Chocolate Brownies with Chocolate Chips

  1. Preheat Oven & Prep Pan – preheat the oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9×9 inch square baking pan or line with parchment paper
  2. Beat Eggs – in a medium bowl, beat eggs until frothy, then set aside.
  3. Combine Wet Ingredients – using a large microwave-safe bowl, combine the butter and chopped white chocolate. Melt in 30 second increments, whisking in-between until completely smooth and combined. Add granulated white sugar, and continue to whisk until combined, then add eggs and pure vanilla extract.
  4. Add Dry Ingredients & Chocolate Chips – Mix in the sifted flour and salt, just until combined then gently fold in the white and semi-sweet chocolate chips.
  5. Bake – transfer to prepared pan, and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out nearly clean (there should still be moist crumbs on the toothpick). Remove from oven, and allow to cool slightly before cutting.

Easy White Chocolate Brownies with Chocolate Chip Recipe Tips

  1. Use quality chocolate, I prefer using Ghirardelli, Lindt, Baker’s – (Hershey’s Chipit brand, is fine for the chocolate chips)
  2. Line the 9 x 9 inch square baking pan baking with parchment paper, leaving an overhang on the sides to lift the finished brownies out of pan
  3. Do NOT overbake your brownies. When testing doneness with a toothpick, there should still be moist crumbs on the toothpick.
  4. Use extra caution when melting the white chocolate and butter. White chocolate bakes (or burns) very easily when trying to melt it. Melt in 30 second increments, whisking in-between until completely smooth and combined.
  5. Allow brownies to cool before cutting into them. Because they are soft and fudgy, it will be more of a mess to cut into if still hot.
